Residential Access Modification Program
Seeking government funding for home modifications to make your home more accessible?
In Alberta, there is government funding for home modifications for individuals and families with low income and mobility difficulties. It is called “RAMP” for Residential Access Modification Program. This is not just for ramps to get in and out of your home, it could also be for a stairlift, tub/shower modification, or to widen a doorway. It can address safety concerns, help to maintain independence, and prevent or limit functional decline. The funding is an investment to help keep people living in their own homes.
